Andrés is a Business Engineer from the School of Engineering of Antioquia.
He is an Avocado Producer in the departments of Antioquia and Caldas.
Founding President of the APROARE SAT organization; now HASS COLOMBIA.
He served as National Secretary of the Avocado Chain, attached to the Ministry of Agriculture from September 2008 to December 2014.
He was a promoter of the creation and Executive Director of the National Corporation of Avocado Hass Producers and Exporters of Colombia – CORPOHASS from April 2013 to March 2015. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of CORPOHASS from April 2015 to April 2017.
He also worked as the Supply Director of the company CARTAMA and is an international consultant to DOLE Asia on integrated management of avocado cultivation in tropical conditions and marketing.
He structures investment projects for international companies in avocado production projects.
