Gilma is a professional with 27 years of dedication to Hass avocado cultivation in Colombia. She has a background in animal husbandry and served as an administrator for the first commercial Hass avocado plantation in La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia for 12 years. Since 2007, she has been providing advisory services to avocado farms in the East of Antioquia.
She also worked as the Technical Manager at WESTFALIA FRUIT for 10 years and concurrently served as the Manager of WESTFALIA FARMS during the last 6 years of that period. Since 2022, she has been working as a technical consultant for 9 companies dedicated to avocado cultivation.
