Professor at the National University of Colombia, Medellin Campus, Colombia. Trained as an Agronomist Engineer at the National University of Colombia, with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agronomy and Soil Science from the University of Hawaii (HI, USA). Through the National University of Colombia, he has conducted numerous research projects at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels and has published books and scientific articles at the national and international levels on Comprehensive Soil Management and Plant Nutrition of Tropical Crops, particularly through soil health characterization (physical, chemical, and soil biology), which includes the use of biofertilizers.
Through his company, BIOFERTILIZAR S.A.S., he diagnoses soil fertility and serves as a consultant to various companies in sustainable soil management and crop nutrition.
